The 61-year-old performer fell to the ground during a performance in Sweden last night. She was singing at a Christmas show and local promoter, Michael Silfverskiold, described the incident by saying, "She fell off the side of the stage. The production manager caught her." She was then taken to the hospital, from which she was released today. I hope it wasn't anything serious like a very ironic bout of vertigo, but that if it was, we'd like her to know that we consider it to be OUR nausea.

when life gives you a chance to be with someone special, you just grab that brownish area by its points and don't let it go, no matter what your mom says...

I sincerely hope she'll be alright; she's iconic. I was just a wee little girl, but I still remember the day her mother, Judy Garland died. I remember them announcing it on the radio (yes, probably am) and then playing several of her songs, including "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"... But Liza is her own legend: daughter of Vincent Minelli, Cabaret, Studio 54, etc., Those who giggle at her don't know the history. It's SO much more than that last freak she was married to; David Guest. Liza really IS iconic. Check out what she's done on Broadway. I hope she'll be fine. She's much too young to die.

And what, prey tell, is the current condition of the unfortunate production manager?

OMG I thought it was Brittany at first glance.
Best wishes to Liza.
