For their work done raising awareness about the war in Darfur and raising money for refugees via their "Not On Our Watch" organization, George Clooney and Don Cheadle received an award at the Summit of the Noble Peace Prize, recognizing their efforts. At the Cannes Film Festival, both actors managed to raise $10 million for Darfur, but when Clooney downplayed their efforts, citing his frustration that not much seems to have changed in the area. "The simple truth is that when it comes to the atrocities in Darfur those people are not better off now than they were years ago. The murders continue, the rapes continue and some two and a half million refugees are yet to go home." It's nice to see celebrities, who appear to genuinely be dedicated to doing good and are so earnest and humble about it.
