400 tattoos in 24 hours. That's what Kat Von D, star of "LA Ink" aimed to accomplish. No word yet on if she was successful. If so, she'll be a Guinness World of Record holder She's kicked things off at her LA shop High Voltage, with a crowed ready for inking. Don't think she got overly creative during her 24-hour stint, she only inked one design, a Guinness-approved "LA" logo.

If she beat the record, then that would make 400 idiots. Getting a tattoo is fine, but you should get one that means something to you, not some publicity stunt creation. I can't believe an tattoo "artist" would take part in this crap.

I think that getting a tattoo that represents an artist such as Kat Von D is an awesome thing. And its not like the size of the tattoo is going to be a sleeve or anything

When I had a tattoo party, I was last to get mine. And the tattoo artist only did like 6-7 tattoos there. Mine was so horrible and sloppy because after about 4 hours of doing tattoos, her hands were damn near numb from the vibration. Bad idea on my part.

i would love to have kat van d to do a tattoo of my sister as i lot her 24 years ago before i was born but i have always feel she's with me and havin a tattoo i will never forget her. if there's any why i can have a tattoo done by kat than my wish will come ture as i know kat doe's nice family portraits
