Britney Spears has been under so much scrutiny as a parent, undergoing drug-testing, a court-appointed monitor accompanying her with them and having her driving privileges with them taken away, that it's come as something of a surprise that suddenly, she should change the focus to her ex, Kevin Federline. Calling Kevin's parenting skills into question, Britney is having strands of her boys' hair analyzed to see if they've been exposed to marijuana. The pop star believes that her ex-husband is smoking pot around the boys and is very upset over it. "She says she can smell it in the boys' hair and on their clothes when she has her visitation with them." A positive test could prove that the Jayden James and Sean Preston had been exposed to secondhand smoke and could result in Kevin losing his custodial rights. Yay! I agree with the first comment. No, I don't think she's well enough to be a parent without some serious therapy, but neither is he. Has anyone forgotten the skeasy things he did while he was married to her? Have we chosen to ignore the fact that he was caught by paparazzi going out partying almost every night while she stayed home with her kids?

How could they even prove the smoke came from their time with K-Fed? She could just as easily have someone blow smoke in their hair and then have them tested - they'd show up positive, but he wouldn't be to blame...

She needs mental health assistance and parenting skills training and he needs treatment and parenting skills training. So why one person has custody over the other is beyond me. He's just as bad. Not only that, but his LAWYERS want every bit of her money. Kevin isn't smart enough to pursue her like this, so we all know his greedy little lawyers are behind all of it. The courts should be forcing these two to take 50/50 control and 50/50 on everything from parenting classes to treatment to mental health counseling. They should be forcing them to work together and get help together.

The hair drug test is done by analyzing the actual hair structure, not by testing what is 'on' the hair. you could blow smoke on it all day and that wouldn't matter. But those poor little guys, they are so adorable! I'm glad she's fighting back. Maybe she's snapping out of it finally.
