The look on David Beckham's face here in Madrid for the Spice Girls concert there s one of pure and utter contentment. Perhaps it's because he's proud of his girl-banding wife, but maybe it's also because of the joy with which he is filled from being a gay icon. He credits his wife with helping him to maintain the image that has earned him numerous endorsements, by dressing him. The footballer has said recently, "I'm very honoured to have the tag of gay icon." He then reasoned that, "Maybe it's things like (the fact) I like to look after myself, I like to look smart and presentable most of the time." I love that he put it that way, practically saying, "I guess people think I'm gay because I like to look nice and don't smell like cow dung." Few things are more attractive to me than a guy who's decidedly not homophobic, so good work, David. I'm pretty sure he said that specifically so I could possibly get turned on.
