Usually, this couple is so well-coordinated--I'm not saying I'm always a fan of what they're wearing, but at least I can usually tell what look they were trying to achieve. But here, I'm just sort of confused. David's outfit is acceptable, with his tailored suit and trench-coat, but his buzz-cut is so short and the hair is so light that it appears that the ghost of his hair is haunting his scalp. And what is the deal with Victoria's make-up? I know that sometimes regular make-up reflects the light of a camera's flash in strange ways, but maybe if she weren't so incredibly TAN everywhere else, it wouldn't look so weird. And why is she so tan anyways? She's British and it's confusing! If she's not walking around, a cup of tea in one pasty hand and a crumpet in the other, then how am I supposed to keep my stereotypes straight, I ask you?

I never thought David Beckham was anything special anyway so him looking icky is no big surprise to me.

I think he's perfection personified. While I normally cringe at what she's wearing, she usually nails it with the footwear but I think those shoes (style and colour) are terribly wrong for that dress.

I'm noticing a certain tendency on the part of the British to go for these ridiculous-looking, overdone tans. I mean, look at Katie Price - if you can stand to, that is. I think it's a very unattractive look and my mind boggles that anybody would find it appealing. I guess they're over-compensating for their natural tendency to be pale, considering the climate there and all.
