Here's some video of paparazzi attempting to get video footage of the Spears boys on their way to Kevin's house, while Kevin makes like Britney and swerves all over the road to keep the photogs from getting the shot. The best part of the video, in my opinion, is the interchange between the dispatch and the driver, who can't seem to make each other understood. I seriously felt like the guy was going to end up yelling, "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT KEVIN IS BLOCKING ME, I'M GOING TO SHOOT YOU IN THE FACE THE NEXT TIME I SEE YOU."
As for an update on the entire Britney situation, Ms. Spears is being held on a 72-hour watch a the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre to keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't hurt herself. Let's hope she doesn't require any doses of Heparin while she's in there. Now, Kevin's lawyer is trying to get custody of the kids for his client at an emergency meeting this morning at the L.A. Superior Court, so that the kids can be placed with what is arguably the slightly less unstable parent.

I'm no fan of his, but the kids weren't in the car with them - they were in a car driven by his bodyguard ahead of his, I gather?
I might have actually done the same if my ex had just had a psychotic breakdown in front of our kids and was hauled off to the hospital in a bevy of flashing lights and sirens - those kids don't need more flashing lights and scary things thrown at them in a given night.

Good for Kevin! I know, I know, I am visiting this site and giving it traffic, but those are kids in the car ahead, not Lindsay Lohan or Britney. Kevin wanted to protect his babies. The paps are going to kill someone soon, a la Princess Di, if they don't stop these stupid "celebrity chases." Kevin's kids weren't in the car with him. Kevin, unlike Brit (who I hope recovers), doesn't flash his kids all over town. He seems to want to protect them as much as possible.

Painfully, gotta give KFed credit. The kids are in the Escalade up ahead. He kept the paps away from them. In truth, you have to wonder why they are chasing the kids. Photos of the celebs, okay, but who wants to see babies leave a hospital? Is there no conscience at all? Don't they ever have an "ick" moment about themselves when it comes to small children?

It seems to me the press was forcing him to drive like that just to protect the privacy of his children. I bet that's what happened when they were chasing Princess Di. Do we need another fatal car crash before they pull their heads out and actually give a damn about the safety of the children? It makes me disgusted.

I wish there was some way of getting a 'gang injunction' against the paparazzi, so innocent people wouldn't have to be subjected to their dangerous behavior. Someone WILL get killed, just like Princess Diana.
