Seriously folks, I'm not being fatalistic, but once you start going out on dates with your pet, trading nibbles of food and whatnot, that's when you've finally said to yourself, "I want to show my pet such inordinate amounts of attention that I know will scare all potential mates away and at this point, I DO NOT CARE." Mariah's enjoying a romantic stroll with her puppy after dinner at Le Select restaurant in St. Bathelemy in the French West Indies. I don't blame her, really. I feel like Mariah's been burned a lot in the past. I just don't understand who the dude with the unbuttoned white shirt and sunglasses is. Is he the dog's surrogate, à la George Sr. in "Arrested Development," reading the pup's thoughts through telepathy and then verbalizing them for him? Cause that would be less ridiculous than the idea that this silly-looking man is simply the dog's handler.
