Umm, no. I agree with Joel, shes just to damn old to be competing with the Britneys of the world. Too bad she doesnt truly have a singing voice or musical talent because she could have moved on to a truly different arena by now. But she is mired in trying to be 22 for the rest of her professional life.

I think she should give herself over to just acting as she's a cut above in that art. She would/could restore some self-respect.

Loved it...its too easy for armchair critics to simply pic things apart. For real..its hot, its now, its relevant, its sexy, and promising. No need to mention anyone else in the same breath. She's doing what she does best..and what she did first. But it is Art ..her art...and people will always take jabs or not get thing, or not understand things. Thank god there's no rap guest stars...thank god there's no cheap bling...if I must do the armchair thing..its sorta like Rhythm Nation 2008. If the entire video had been built around the last 30 seconds or so, where she's dressed in a tight red outfit with shorter hair and performing dance "stunts" with the white computer-generated balls, this video would have been "fiyah"! That part left me yearning for more (of that part). As for the remainder of the video - the first 3 minutes and 20 seconds - it's pedestrian to slightly above average. MTV won't play it, so she'll have to rely on the Internet for exposure, which might kick it up the charts to a higher peak than the lead-off single from "20 Y.O." - "Call On Me" (featuring Nelly), remember that one? (No. 19 pop, No. 1 R&B in Billboard)
