In case something should befall the five other rockers who beat out Pete Wentz on Rock.com's rock star presidential primary, then I guess that would make Ashlee Simpson the first lady of rock. Let's just hope it doesn't come to that. No need to see her lip-synching the National Anthem badly. The "Fall Out Boy" frontman was voted number six in a poll that had Billie Joe Armstrong of "Green Day" in number one followed by Bono, Marilyn Manson, Ozzy Osbourne and Ted Nugent. According to the CEO of the website, the mock presidential primary was done to raise political awareness and "Some of the candidates selected by our members have a history of political activism dating back decades and could have a future in politics, and some would be just plain scary." Hey, it's just like a real election then. I don't have anything against Pete, really, I just don't know how I'd feel about having a president who wears such tight jeans. I feel like I can see his entire platform and I might be mistaken, but I do believe he leans a little to the left.

Patrick is the lead singer, yes..but Pete is the frontman. He's the guy that represents the band the most, from what I've read Patrick happens to be very shy apart from what he does on stage. I love FOB and it's pretty cool for Pete to make the list! Hemmy is a cutie, too.
