She may look like Strawberry Shortcake here, but don't be fooled, Roseanne Barr's still doing her best to piss people off. The Huffington Post is showing an excerpt from Roseanne Barr's blog, in which she criticizes Oprah Winfrey for endorsing Barack Obama over Hilary Clinton, saying to the talk show host, "Oprah, you play the race card and the gender card too." She refers to Obama as "an empty suit selling 'hope' in lieu of Truth" and accuses him of secretly favoring "right wing corporate racist anti worker bullshit."
In response to the uproar caused by her statements, Roseanne has already posted additional posts to clarify her position, stating, "I am so sorry for sounding like I don't like Oprah or Obama. I do. Oprah has been a force for good for a long time, and I just got carried away with my preference for Hilary over Obama." Yeah, I wouldn't fuck with Oprah. It's all fun and games until Gayle shows up at your house with a gun and quietly tells you to get in the car and drive. How else do you think she gets to hang with O and go on all those fancy trips? She pays her way with the blood of Oprah's enemies.

Rosanne is right! I guess the race card trumps the gender card in Oprah´s book. Sorry, but the office of the presidency should require some experience--we´ve all seen what happens when it doesn´t!

As for Oprah's endorsement of Obama, she has the right as a private citizen to endorse whomever she chooses and to support them with the resources at her disposal. If she chooses to use her wealth and contacts to help Obama, that is no different from what has been done before. She did not create a new way of helping her choice for the man she thinks would make an excellent president. I believe it was Bush that called the wealthy "his base." So why act as thought she is doing something wrong or suspect. That is why I am not understanding the "shame on you behavior" comment made by k. What was shameful about Oprah's endorsement of Obama?

ROSEANN. you are right about Obama. All he talks about is THE CHANGE - Does this apply to women over 50 only. Oprah is strickly for Oprah, she only gives away what others give to her free. We all know she is a billionaire many time over and so is Obama financial campaign manager - Penny Pritzker, who once owned Superior Bank in Oakbrook, Il, until it bankrupted in 2001. Obama talks about helping the people who work so hard for their money, maybe he can ask her finance manager to start helping pay them back. Obama's wife calls him STINKY, what does she know we don't. {she's a real class act).
Obama talks about how he would like the american dream for everyone, hundreds of people that lost their money also lost that dream for their children's education, a better home, and money for a comfortable retirement.
This cost the federal government close to one billion dollars, {the taxpayers). The largest bankruptcy in banking history.
The word bankrupt means the following. individual,partnership,corporation,municipality who are unable to pay it debts. How can you be one of wealthest people in the country, and be listed in the fortune 500, and depositor's are the only one that lose. Then the FDIC gives you 15 years to payback 450 million, with no interest. Who has ever got a deal like this.
The depositor's are still standing in line. It goes back to the wealthy and large corporation's, win again, and politic's as you usual.
