It turns out that the reason that Britney Spears missed what her ex-husband's lawyer is calling "the most significant hearing in the case so far" was because she was waiting at her Malibu home for a piece of furniture to be delivered.
She showed up to the courthouse four hours late and then abruptly decided not to attend, opting instead to stop over at a church for some prayer. Witnesses inside the church say that the troubled pop star said a prayer and lit a candle.
Sporting some dark sunglasses, high heels and a short, lace mini-dress in the house of worship, Britney was accompanied by her constant companion, Adnan Ghalib.
Never one to miss a photo-op, this guy is always with her--now that he's been hired on as her personal assistant--and here, the two of them are making a pit stop at Rite Aid. I'm sad that she dresses nicer for Rite Aid than she does for church, but I guess since she's CRAZY, I can't really be too critical.

We do KNOW that the court was SLAMMED with media and MAYBE just MAYBE she didn't want to fight her way through all that..I know I wouldn't...some things just should be left alone...it's the constant badgering of the media and paparazzi that drives her to act the crazy ways she does...it's enough to make any person act out...Noone but Britney herself knows the full scale of what she's going through..how she's feeling...what she's thinking...people just need to leave her be....WHAT IF IT ALL WAS HAPPENING TO YOU???
