I disagree, spiderbabe. I think the sad thing is that these delusional contestants seemingly have no one in their lives willing to give them an honest assessment of their abilities. I understand wanting to support those you love in the pursuit of something they care about, but how about the occasional dose of reality?
Yes, at times the judges come across as mocking those who are not quite right, but let's be honest: most of the contestants featured should not have been within a 1,000 miles of a nationally televised singing contest.
