We know this picture is old--we were just reminiscing on the dark sunglasses, and loose curls that defined the relationship of Jessica Simpson and John Mayer. These days, John Mayer is blogging for good not evil, using his website to defend his ex, Jessica, from rabid Dallas Cowboys fans believing her to be quarterback Tony Romo's jinx.
Mayer posted a blog post with the title, "Don't Ex With Texas," addressing Dallas Cowboy fans and telling them that they shouldn't be so hard on Jess, emphasizing that "that girl loves Texas more than you know," and asking that them not to "try and take that away from her."
Now, I'm usually one to give John Mayer the benefit of the doubt, but it actually seemed like he was trying to do something nice for his ex-girlfriend...or worm his way back into her very tight-fitting pants now that he's single again. I'll let you decide.
