Backstreet Old Guy A.J. McLean is publicly reaching out to delusional bag woman Britney Spears. McLean, a member of the Backstreet Boys and a recovering alcoholic, was at something called the Hysteric Glamour VIP preview party, and talking about how he wants Britney to get in touch with him. To loan him some cash or to hit her up for a job, probably. Dude, unless you pull off the Timberlake hat trick, it's hard out here for a boy band member! When asked what his rescue and recovery plan for Britney would consist of, he said "first I would say, 'What the hell is wrong with you?' Second I would say, 'What is really wrong with you? What are you not saying to everybody else?' " That's a good plan. I can sense he's had training. What A.J. really wants to do is to "pick her brain". I don't think there's a lot up there for your pick to latch onto, guy. In other Britney news, she's rocking that British accent 24-7 now. Fraiser Ross is the owner of Kitson, who opened up for Britney to have her early morning shopping spree this past week. He says she was talking in that British accent the whole time. I know she's mental, but that's really really annoying. Have you ever known someone to want that much attention? Besides me, of course.

I really don't know what to think about the British accent, that mess is disturbing.

Info: Hysteric Glamour is a Japan-based clothing line. They also make the elusive "man purse". They look good though, so I'm not going to bash.
I would liken AJ McLean picking Britney's brain to rifing through the turkey stuffing trying to get at any remaining crunchy parts that may have gone unnoticed at the intitial feast.

You know you have a problem when AJ MacLean is reaching out to help you.

It seems clear to me that her British-ish accent is an attempt to "glom" onto her loverazzi and his (native) accent. Plus, I don't think she really HAS a distinct personality (zero personality disorder?); not having a normal childhood -- always trying to be what the public/studios/record companies want -- prevented her from developing her own true persona, so she just melds with whomever she hangs around ('member the Paris days?).
