David Beckham is determined to destroy the ozone layer, one international jaunt after the other. That's the message the British environmental group Carbon Trust, is sending out about the soccer star. They argue that with his numerous plane trips, and the fact that he owns fifteen cars, including a Lincoln Navigator and a Hummer, Becks is leaving behind one of the largest carbon footprints on the planet. According to the group, David creates an annual 163 tons of carbon dioxide versus the 9.4 per person average in England.
Also, let's not forget just how much heat he generates taking off his shirt. Hey-OOOOO! Get it? Cause he's HOT.

People are crazy. Like he's driving all 15 cars at once? Doubt it......My husband travels about 3 days of the week so is he guilty of causing the earth trouble to or is he making ME money? Depends on how ya look at it. I prefer the latter. lol
Mike says:
I'm sorry, but having 15 cars or 100 cars for that matter is the same as having one--you can only drive one at the same time! Only one car is on at any given time... that means he is causing the same amount of car-related ozone damage as anyone else with a single vehicle
Sprinkles says:
best caption ever lisa...hahah I died! Also, are they saying that it's because he flies on a private jet? then I can see how that can make sense, but unless he flies commercial, he hates earth as much as the next guy :)
Peach says:
I agree - if he's not driving all 15 at the same time, wtf is the difference? This environmental group is just jealous of his abs. :p
Wayne Yokley says:
David - get your ass and that slut you married out
of this country - NOW.
You suck, big time

Okay, so here is the thing, what about the fuel it takes to make all those cars

ctSF says:
This is idiotic BS. One, he is not the only passenger on an airliner (unless he's going private jet), and two, as mentioned before, he can only drive one car at a time of however many he has. Carbon Trust, like most of these "green" groups are wasting their time (and our reading time) by calling out individuals versus the real culprits: big oil companies whose lobbyists are preventing the practical production of alternative fuels. Carbon Trust, get your head out of your a$$.
spaz says:
while I agree with all of you about only being able to drive one car at one time, it does say...
"According to the group, David creates an annual 163 tons of carbon dioxide versus the 9.4 per person average in England."
which means, IF this group's numbers are accurate, no matter how you look at it, he pollutes about 17 times more than the average England-er. I'm not saying their numbers are accurate...who knows how they calculated/estimated them...but if they are, then they're right about him.
Sean says:
That's rediculous. He flies for his job (which he is very, very good at) and he uses the airlines, not his own plane. He can only drive one car at a time, even if he has a hundred of them. The math is wrong and the article is annoyingly pointless. The pics were the only thing worth looking at, and I've seen better than those.
