Jennifer Aniston is busting ass this year, churning out the romantic comedies sort of the way I like to make pancakes, often and by memory--so much so, that I bet she could probably do it with her eyes closed by now. And that's where my pancake analogy ends, as evidenced by the scar on my hand. We spotted her working on the film, "Management," earlier this month and now here she is with Aaron Eckhart in "Traveling."
In the movie, Aniston plays a florist who attends a grief seminar where Eckhart's character realizes that he's not healed from the loss of his wife. I predict lots of tender moments in between awkward, yet endearing conversations about love and death. It would probably take an entire bottle of wine to convince me to go into the theater to give it a chance.

Wonderful~! Another Jennifer Aniston "feel good" movie, no blood, no guts all over the place, no gore. I love her movies! Sorta like the former Doris Day "feel good" movies....same class act in my opinion. Wasn't it great that Angelina Jolie (for Brenda here ) was snubbed at the Oscars?....so there you Just Jared freak....rasberry here

Anyway, I'm tired of her in these Rom-Coms. Rom-Coms are (now) BORING. I like angelina and always have. But I like Jennifer too...and always have.
I wish Jen would (or the powers that be would let her) play deeper characters like in The Good Girl, or grittier characters. People may not think she has the talent, but I think her talent skips a level and the roles shes getting now just aren't bridging that gap at all. I'd like to see her star as someone who seems unassuming on the surface but is actually villainous or sociopathic. I think she touched on that a tiny bit in Derailed, and I'd love to see more.

'traveling' is classed as a romantic drama not a comedy. Her previous two movies - 'he's not that into you' and 'management' are comedies and her next one is based on a true story 'marley and me' so there is variety there.

There are a lot of very talented, solid actors that don't get the credit, or the movie choices they deserve. While Jennifer doesn't seem to attract those meaty, oscar type roles, she makes decent movies and is a damn fine actress. Why people find it necessary to keep measuring her up to Angelina is innane and beyond me. But if you must, well Jennifer comes out on top in EVERY catagory. Her acting skills are well beyond what Angelina has. Besides that, she's wholesome, gorgeous, classy, and real!
