I love these moments--when unsuspecting celebrities are really just minding their own business, trying to go about their day when they realize that they're being photographed and you can just see the vulnerable look in their eyes. It's as if they can feel the laser scope radiating onto their foreheads just before the trigger is pulled.
Ben Affleck is captured in the wild here at Starbucks, enjoying what looks like an iced coffee. He appears to be multi-tasking, feeding his brain some caffeine, while on the phone at the same time. According to wife, Jennifer Garner, Ben's such a brainiac, she has to stay on top of her game just to keep up. The actress recently said, "Ben really is such a sharp, intelligent guy. Sometimes I think, 'Oh gosh, I'd better read the paper so I can talk to my husband!'" Thank God my boyfriend likes me for my looks and all the sexual favors I keep throwing his way. The last thing I need is for the man to start expecting me to maintain an educated conversation.

I love that she equates being super-smart with reading the paper. I especially like to imagine that it's not the LA Times or the New York Times she's thinking of, it's, you know... the Sun.
That's Funny says:
That's pretty funny. A wife who feels compelled to promote her husband's smarts. Who's she trying to convince? LOL!!
green cardigan says:
Do people really say 'oh gosh' ?
Zekers says:
He comes off as pretty informed, saw him on Bill Maher a couple of times, doesn't necessarily mean he's overtly intelligent though...
Yes, g.c., my mom says "Oh gosh" all the time!
^^^^ says:
yeah they do...
thats from an old article and it was taken out of context(like everything these days) but it's still funny :P
green cardigan says:
interesting....I read it in Enid Blyton books as a wee one (along with 'blimey, 'jeepers', 'jolly good' etc). I haven't heard many people actually say it.
I must be living a very sheltered life :D
Zekers says:
No, actually g.c., most anyone who would say "oh gosh" is probably living a sheltered life! Its right up there with 'golly gee' and 'oh me oh my!'
Tokia says:
I heard that she is on the verge of filing for a
legal separation
that would be sad since I do think they are a lovely couple with a super cute kid
