Cate Blanchett, co-starred with Heath Ledger in the Todd Hayned biopic about Bob Dylan, "I'm Not There," but never actually shot scenes with the late actor. When she picked up her Modern Master Award at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, she paid tribute to her fellow Australian, the late Heath Ledger. She said of Ledger, "I'd like to pay special tribute to Heath Ledger who I think was an extraordinary actor and was well on his way to being a master himself." At that point, she received a resounding applause from the crowd, and added, "We will all miss you enormously."
And on another note completely, I had no idea she was pregnant. And not only is she pregnant, but she appears to be very pregnant. I love that dress and the shoes--the colors, the style, it looks so amazing to me that I wish I were pregnant, so that I could fill it out properly.
