That red lipstick really brings out the crazy. Britney Spears has been granted permission by the courts to phone her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline. She is still not allowed to have any physical contact with them because of her recent meltdown which involved cops, a standoff, locked doors, suicide threats, scared children, and more media coverage than the fall of the Berlin Wall, 9/11, and the Red Sox finally winning the World Series combined. After the hearing last week, Commissioner Scott Gordon ruled ""Petitioner is to have telephonic contact with the minor children in accordance with the parties' oral stipulation this date." Yesterday, her head scrub Sam lufti reportedly told Barbara Walters that Brit is seeking treatment for mental issues. Uh uh. Seriously, K-Fed needs to teach those children what caller ID is all about. It's never too young to learn.

Why is it when Mel Gibson, who has 7 kids, had the drunk, crazy racist confrontation with police, noone limited his contact with his kids? Why was his ability to parent not questioned? If Ms. Spears is seeking help for substance abuse or mental health issues then why put her down? We heard only saport for people like Owen Wilson and Patty Duke who has been very vocal about her illness and it's effects on her 2 Sons that grew into fine adults.

now my girl, Brit, Brit fell a few years ago and has NEVER even tried to get UP from her fall...even seems like she bought her the biggest shovel in the world and keeps diggin, and digging, and digging, did i mention that Mel only had ONE fall back????

I am a bigger fan of Brit than Mel... but the truth is the truth and I can not cover up for Brit anymore... she is what she is... and SHE has is directing her life.... to the best of her ability.... I am proud of her for getting some kinda of help... i guess she figured If AMY W. is in rehab, "I better look like I am too"... pissstt, i don't believe her....

Mel's children are significantly older than Brit's. At the time of his arrest, the youngest was 7, the second youngest 16. And he was in a stable 26-year marriage, not in a bitter custody battle. Not saying he isn't a hot mess, but their home lives are completely different.

When she gets herself straightened out, she'll realize that it was a good thing that someone stepped to protect the babies. It is hard for us all to watch this mess day after day. How much harder is it for small children who count on her for basic care to see this?
