Do remember how David Letterman pressured Paris Hilton about her time in jail? Well, now apparently David Leterman is sorry that he did just that.
"We have a lovely woman who's been in prison," Letterman said Friday, explaining why he previously behaved the way he did. "I put those two things together and my head starts spinning."Rehashing how he verbally accosted Hilton the last time, "I continued to press the point," Letterman acknowledged - though Hilton had made it clear she was finished talking about her life behind bars.
"I thought I was hilarious," Letterman recalled, until others the next day told him, "No, you were an ass----."
Who knew David Letterman has a conscience? It seems like Paris Hilton has one too. Has she repaired her riff with Lindsay Lohan? Paris, who brought along Brittny Gastineau, one of her ffaux-lesbian friends, to a party at Lindsay Lohan's. She only stayed for 30 minutes, but I guess it's a start?
More photos of Paris Hilton and Brittny Gastineau are after the jump.

Letterman wasn't an "a s s ---." He was great, and it was hysetrical; his audience laughed and applauded during that initial show -- a lot of us did. It's nice that he apologized; it just shows that he is still a far better person than Hilton.
MyBelle says:
His apology and subsequent interview were tongue-in-cheek. You could see he was still ridiculing her, just doing it under her radar. Which, btw, doesn't ping very well.
Catsy says:
Well said, MyBelle.
I've rarely seen Letterman look so unhappy. It's obvious he isn't exactly enamored over Hilton; few of us are. Once again, he handled her the way in which she came across - as an immature, insecure 27-year old woman. (By the way, she told Letterman she was only 26, knowing full well she'd be turning 27 in only a matter of days.) In the end, Letterman came out far ahead of Hilton, which is the way it should be.
BillM says:
It had nothing to do with Paris. It was pressure from the "Repo" investors, directors, producers, etc. The film has to make a profit. She's booed at the Spike Awards; booed at and ignored in Toronto; Letterman takes shots at her...what did you think was going to happen? It has nothing to do with respect; it's about business. Wake up, people...don't be so naïve.

One of my online friends told me that she has seen Hilton's profile with some sexy pics on a dating site named interracialchats.com. Has she created it by herself and she is seeking for interracial fun??
