All sides go to war at a hearing today in which Britney's lawyers at Trope & Trope (uh, didn't they try quitting several weeks back?) will ask the court commisioner to fire Britney's dad Jamie Spears as her conservator. They will challenge Jamie's conservatorship on the fact that Britney has said she hates his ass many, many times in the past. Brit's lawyers aren't arguing against her need for someone to captain her ship, but they want to install someone else behind the wheel. Britney runs hot and cold about her Dad, but she did ask him to be at her bedside during her latest episode. Lawyers reportedly plan to bring in a bunch of witnesses to testify that she dislikes her father immensely. So expect a lot of narrow goatees, bedazzled shirts and eyes gleaming with money hunger. You know who I'm talking about.

Brit might have her issues with her Dad, and he may be an old drunk or whatever, but there is an unbreakable bond there, he's her old man for better or worse as they say, and it is quite likely he has more of an interest in her recovery and wellbeing than some paparazzo guy who makes a living from photographing her misery .

I actually am rooting for her parents. I respect that fact that they asked (and were granteed by) the court to appoint a 3rd party to monitor all decisions they're making regarding their daughter and her finances at this moment. The court picked the monitor so... I really think they've got Brit's best intrest at heart.
Speaking of tugging on heartstrings, I was reading where last week she got out of the car after fighting with Lufti (jerk) and sat on the curb crying.. it was described as 'she sat ont he curb, clutching her dog and crying and photographers surrounded her, snapping photo after photo'.... I mean, how lonely a dn vulnerable do you think she had to be feeling at that moment? I felt horrible for her when I read that...

Please pray for her people. I have been praying along with alot of other people and I think God is answering these prayers. She is human just like all of us and know what? God loves her even if we don't and we shouldn't judge her, just pray for her. I am glad she is getting help, and I am glad her family is there for her. Britney has worked hard for many years.
