Well, she hasn't said that specifically, but that's probably because half of her soul is owned by Jenny Craig. But if she weren't contractually obligated, she'd probably figure out a way to give ol' L. Ron credit for dropping those lbs. Kirstie Alley is singing the praises of her religion of choice, telling Scientology's Source magazine, "Honest to God truth, without Scientology, I would be dead. Personally, I recommend it."
She says that before she was a Scientologist, she was generally "irritated" by mankind but that since then, her outlook has changed, "Now, I have genuine affinity for mankind... I've made decisions here, big, crazy, great, brilliant decisions here about the magnitude I'm going to help this group and help this planet, and it's real..."
All these Scientologists are so vague about how their religion has helped them to...well, I'm not even really sure what it's actually done for them. But I know they're all saving the world. And somethig about aliens in our brains.

Kirstie is incredibly disciplined, and a highly successful woman! I read this article about her weight loss diet here: http://www.projectweightloss.com/news-4-107372-A_New_Weight_Loss_Brand_by_Kirstie_Alley.html and I'm amazed at her success. very few people have the discipline to achieve what she did by losing so much weight. she's an inspiration for many overweight people, myself included.
