The excerpt online describes an incident at a mall where Britney's credit card was rejected and the pop star exploded in a rage. the 26-year-old is described as being strikingly beautiful in person, confused and frustrated with the attention her behavior has attracted. When approached by a young fan to pose in a picture with her, the pop star responded by snapping angrily, "I don't know who you think I am, bitch, but I'm not that person."

I have two precious daughters and I would hate to be in Daddy Spear's situation BUT if I honestly thought one of my girls needed help - and it certainly appears that Brit does need help - I would do whatever I had to do to help her AND I would stay by her side every minute of the day/night and I would deal with her possible "hatred" later on.
Btw, Do y'all remember the opening scenes of Terminator 2 where Sarah is supposedly drugged and locked-up? I'm not saying that is common in mental hospitals BUT that shit scares me to death.
What I wouldn't be doing is catering a Super Bowl party, as has been reported, but that's just me. I figure, I can always make-up those lost wages elsewhere.
I hope Daddy Spears is the awesome father he seems to be NOW but I have my reservations.

The court needs to put a restraining order in place against her parents and appoint someone from within the system to be in charge of her shit. Someone not associated with any of it and who has no interest other than doing what the court orders.

The Rolling Stone story paints a very very dark picture of Britney and mental illness. It isn;t happy or funny or pretty in any way. its actually just very sad.

Yeah, he's seems to be a real piece of work...if you can believe this stuff...been down this road with my brother, if these people really care about her, they should keep in mind that she's really ill and understand that it's the illness talking, not her. Some pretty painful stuff comes out of the mouth of someone in crisis and when it's someone close, its hard. She's just way f*cked up right now so they need to be tough and let her get treatment. I sat behind Britney once (long time ago!) at an awards show. I was too scared to talk to her, but she really is beautiful in person. She is this petite little thing and very pretty.
I think that her father (and mother, for once) is doing the right thing by keeping her there.

After reading everyone comments, and already lots of folks are degrading Dad Spears. Think twice what this jerk Lufti has been in Brit's life, she lost her children because of him. Now Dad is cleaning up his daughter's health (doctors) so she can have her children back. The court are watching too. Her ex knew what Lufti was all about. Also there is so much Dad can do while being at the hospital. She has lots of healing needed. Lufti has done some damge to put her in this mental state that is she in. You know, ought to give Dad some credit sense he is helping her to heal. If money was an issue then the Spears family would have been doing the taking. But not, so far. If Brit volunteer whatever money she wanted to give to family that her business. Really ought to say prayers for Brit health and glad that Lufti (someday behind bars)is put aside for now.

Even if Dad WAS leaking this info to the press, he would be trying to ward off speculation by a multitude of morons who like to assume the worst and say horrible things about Brit. This is a sad situation. She's had people calling her a meth-head, crack head, drunk, drug addict, horrible mother...the list goes on. And from what the courts have said, she passed drug/alcohol tests. Her illness is the reason she's been acting like this. Her dr. has said that she has no idea the magnitude of the court hearings that she kept missing, she's not in her right mind. And this Sam person has made her worse, isolated her from her family, basically mind-f#cked her with lies and prescriptions. It's scary and thank goodness her parents are finally in a legal position to help her.

He may not be selling his story for money or leaking information but he and her mother have been giving daily press releases to news outlets and magazines. That is definitely not "court documents" and definitely not what good and caring parents should be doing.
