You saw the first wave of photos earlier today and now, here's part two. Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were just two of many at Madonna's UNICEF event last night in NYC. The glowing pop star, pregnant with baby number two, showed up looking divine with her gorgeous man on her arm. I predict another beautiful baby for the two of them.
Dita Von Teese is everywhere these days. I swear, I'd never heard of her until her divorce from Marilyn Manson and I guess if there's an upside to divorce, the rise in her popularity has got to be at least somewhat comforting after the demise of her marriage. He's too creepy anyways. The man has no chin.
Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Diddy, Timbaland and Keri Hilson showed up and although I'm not a huge fan of the strange bleaching Keri's done to her hair, she seems quite adorable and appears to have recovered quite nicely from the shock of Britney's VMA performance of the song she wrote for her. Kimora Lee was there, showing off her man, Djimon Hounsou, who must be a glutton for punishment.
Oh yeah and Rachel Zoe showed up, with her rib cage as her plus one.

because i'm obsessed with this stuff, i can tell you that the girl in the salmon dress is camilla belle. she was in "when a stranger calls" which some horror movie that came out in 2006. i think she also models. not sure how she got invited to this, tho. i think her family comes from money.

peach, don't feel bad. Often I wonder who the people in the pictures are.
I consider myself to be fairly well informed so my take on it is that they're not TRULY "famous"...C- and D-listers. Some of the not-so-famous people will show up for the opening or premiere of ANYTHING.

I prefer this "second wave" of the event photos. The first batch looked like all of the Scientologists and Kabbalahists were told to arrive early in order to wage war for control of Hollywood.

Madonna was on the UNICEF/Gucci carpet again last night and looked waaaaaay hotter, but not quite as hot as Rihanna, in the short orange skirt. I saw her at the Snowflake lighting. Ne-Yo sang. It would have been cool if Rihanna sang too, but I think she ran off to the party.
