According to recent reports, Scientology is gearing up to stage an all-out, kinda violent sounding war on psychiatry. My therapist better get out of town! These f*ckers are crazy! Is it that they don't want educated professionals pronouncing them insane? Check out this wack video in which Scientology head David Miscavige outlines his plans for obliterating psychiatry from the face of the earth. Well, who's gonna prescribe my pills, then? He claims that companies such as Coca-Cola, 7-11, Phillips, and Dell are helping in a media campaign against the profession.
Was a therapist late for Davey or Tom Cruise's appointment one day and that's what started this hubbub? Did someone sleep with someone else's boyfriend? Queens can be vengeful. Anyway, in their new video, they also indicate famous hip-hop clothing mogul/model/scary trannie Kimora Lee Simmons as their agent in recruiting inner-city youths to Scientology. She doesn't speak in the video. Is this for real? Kimora, we knew you were crazy. But we thought it was fun fire-your-entire-staff crazy not alien fascist freakshow crazy. There's a line, ya know!

of all the things to rise up and wage a planet-sized battle against, these people go after psychiatry? whatever happened to the revolt against third world hunger and diseases? what about the AIDS stricken children in africa? oh...i forgot. i blame that on bono and bob geldof. they got to those, first.
depictions of blowing up government buildings? uh, i think we know who's taken over saddam's spot on the fbi's most wanted list.
maybe he's so against psychiatry bc, deep down, he knows he desperately needs it.
sad. pathetic. disgusting.
Queen Caffeine says:
Oh yeah, adding Kimora Lee to their team is a sure-fire way to bring some credibility to their cause.
me says:
Hillary Clinton would be all over this if Scientologists offered to fund her campaign. Bitch.
Morgan says:
Wow...these people are seriously delusional and scary. I wonder if they know how many prescription meds their hero LRH actually took for kicks? He loved popping some pills, and they sure helped him dream up all this crazy shit.
flatbellydance says:
Rumor is, Kimora didn't even know she was in this video. They don't have her talking; just a photo of her in it. She's claiming she's not a Scientologist and didn't give them permission to put her diva self in their dumb video. She apparently didn't know they were claiming she was an undercover agent for the cult.
Eh. Who knows. She may just be backpeddling now, considering how much crap the cult is getting in the media. Me thinks, however, the rumor is true. She doesn't strike me as anyone who bows down to any higher power. She IS the higher power in her mind, I think.

btchyspice- you totally read my mind.
Let's all just sweat out our mental illness! Come on y'all burn that schizophrenia! Take some vitamins for your PTSD!

What concerns me about this are the words he uses to talk about destroying psychiatry.
Are they against psychiatry or against psychiatric drugs? Funny that they are attacking psychiatry but not really focusing on why people have typically gone to a psychiatrist. Reading their book is not going to automatically bring someone out of depression if they have lost their job, don't have money to feed their family, dealing with issues with their family, etc.
Shouldn't they try to fix those problems first?
I'm a firm believer that if someone wants to follow your doctrine you don't have to sell them on it, they will see your walk and make that choice.

Awesomely bad researched this article.

Oh. My. Gosh. I love hte way the guys said that "WE" (scientologists) "yanked" the licenses of 21 "psychs" in the past four weeks. Since when are they in charge of licensing and accredting psychriatrists? Next thing you know they'll be claiming to run the licensing board for medical doctors too since htye don't believe in medical drugs aling with psychiatric drugs.
I think that they know that they've made themselves a permanent entity in our country since claiming to be a "religion" instead of the cult they are, and need to get rid of psychiatry so that there are no trained professionals to help the brainwashed people trying to leave the cult. Before long you'll be regularly reading about parents having their kids kidnapped for deprogramming from Scientology and mysteriously disappearing soon after. These people are DANGEROUS!

Prick Up Your Ears says:
I watched the video and it's creepy. It's like Dave is talking in code. Alert the FBI! Dave is sending secret messages to CO$ terrorists!
Dave looks like a con artist. Spouting all that phony "tech" babble. There's a lot of gullible jackasses out there.
Maya says:
He talks in such a creepy monotone voice and over complicates everything with cheesy techinal jargon. It's sad that people actually get suckered into following this brain damaging, money sucking cult.
Juanita says:
I don't believe it, Kimora's church is the church of "Tiffany's"
The Sci-chiatrist says:
It would be laughable if it were not so scary.
Perhaps Scientology is what we need to bring the the world religions together and unite against this common foe?
I suggest everyone else (outside Scientology) who is still in possession of all their marbles writes to their Congressman/Mp/government representative and demand that they make Scientology and all other religions/cults transparent. Make our governments declare a legal definition of a cult so that this sort of crap can be stopped before it hurts more folk.
Kitten says:
Actually, that place was barely half-full. Scientology is known for using cgi animation to make it look like they have a packed audience.
For still photos, they use photoshop. I believe you can check this out at either XENU.net, or lermanet.com.
HAIL XENU!
