They shot TuPac and Biggie, y'all. The New York Daily News is reporting that some paparazzi agency heads are claiming that Los Angeles gang members are being recruited by rivaling agencies in order to muscle their way in to get the best shot. Most specifically, these individuals are reportedly being hired to track down Britney Spears. Former Splash photographer, Nick Stern quit his job at the agency earlier this month states, "I've heard stories of fights, of car tires being slashed, cars being blocked in."
Well, whether or not gang members actually are being hired as paparazzi, following Britney around is already a pretty dangerous job as it is, with the pop star being followed by a constant motorcade of SUVs, who repeatedly run red lights and often drive dangerously to try and keep her in their sights.
Meanwhile, her are some pictures of Britney, who recently expressed her displeasure at what we're presuming was her lack of an invite to perform at the Grammys. They should have told her it was being held at the psych ward at the UCLA Medical Center because she needs to get back in there.

Now, back to what I originally wanted to say... The sheer hypocrisy of this article makes me want to retch - on one hand you're informing us that the paps are way out of control yet you go on to flippantly say 'meanwhile, here are some pics'.
Stop using them! Every picture I've seen of Britney has been boring, every article is tedious (Britney looks fat! Britney uses a public toilet!) and every messageboard or comment box will undoubtedly be filled with dickheads like 'Sprinkles' and 'ginger' calling her a lowlife (a name you may want to attribute to the rabid vultures actually taking these pictures, monitoring her every move and nearly killing themselves for a photo of her drinking out of a Starbucks cup) and commenting on how bad she looks. For fuck's sake people, where is your respect for your fellow human beings? What if this were your mother, aunt, daughter, sister or friend? Leave the girl alone, she's clearly not well, and this attention seeking she's displaying is just a symptom of her worrying mental state. She should be pitied for being so ignorant and having such little support, rather than vilified for wearing the wrong fucking clothes, you complete bastards. (Oh, and no, I'm not some mentalist Christian or a die-hard Britney fan, I just have brains and a little compassion).
Get a life, people, and let Britney live hers!
