OK, I'm very pro Sarah Michelle Gellar normally, but something is kind of...off in these pix. The eye make-up is overwhelming and her eyebrows and lips aren't dark enough, so they seem to be disappearing into a sea of golden-brown. To be fair, this might have looked better in person and just not have photographed very well. SMG was at the Vaseline and Conde Nast Media Group "Skin is Amazing" exhibit at The Glass House. The event was held last night at the Chelsea Art Tower.
OK, yeah, I just clicked on a bigger picture here and I've decided that although the dress might have looked better if it were floor-length and in a more contrasting color, it's really that eye make-up and corpse-colored lipstick that's throwing me off.

OMG I sooo wanted that dress until the shot of the retarded back! dammit! Sarah just needed some dark lipstick instead of that sheer chapstick gloss crap she has on.

I heart her! But sometimes she does like the wacky clothing.
Where's her best accessory? We never see Freddie out with her on the red carpet!
The shoes look good.

Ahhhh. Vaseline Intensive Care, it moisturizes as it lubricates.

Hmmm...there's something about this look I love and something about it I hate, and I think it's the dark eye-shadow all the way up to the lighter colored brow. Doesn't work. If the eye stuff worked, the light lip color would work as well.
