The lawyer who put a kink in the Britney Spears case claims that Britney herself called him, asking him to take over the conservatorship now in the hands of her parents.
Attorney John Eardley says that the courts aren't helping Britney by imposing the conservatorship and that she is being "held hostage" in her own home by her family who has current control of Spears and her assets.
So what makes this case so interesting? The spokesperson for Eardley, Michael Sands, also used to be the spokesperson from Mark Vincent Kaplan, K-Fed's lawyer. Even better, he also represents the one and only Sam lufti. Do I smell a conspiracy to take over Britney's money? Maybe.
As for now, you can look for yourself and see Britney out and about with her father Jamie, not held hostage in her house as claimed by Eardley.

Actually, she IS being held hostage. She's not able to come and go without the bodyguard(s) hired by her Paw. Paw is allegedly setting up a "tour" for her, he's paying for her to practice dancing and give lessons, hence controlling her publicity. He must be monitoring her drugs because she looks/acts medicated and she looks pissed/unhappy in almost all pictures.

You know, that's why it's called tough love. I really think that this needs to be done so that she doesn't completely self destruct. She obviously doesn't know what's best for her right now and I think it's great that her family's stepped in. I'd rather see them than that horrible Sam or Adnan. She might not be happy now but I think that she'll thank them later. And I think she's already looking and acting a lot better.

Um, this man is saying she called him...won't the case be thrown out then because the entire basis of the conservatorship is that she is mentally unstable and unable to make rational decisions for herself (we have a few years of photos and videos that totally PROVE that point)? So in that vein, she is specifically unable to hire a lawyer and the court already threw out another guy who claimed she hired him. The girl is mentally ill and needs treatment, serious treatment.
The judge in this case is clearly making the decisions that need to be made and her family is working to help her. I think the fact that her dad and brother are in charge of protecting her and her assets and not her mom should remove the "they only want to exploit her factor" particularly seeing as she is not really being seen out too often, the bizarre behavior has stopped, and she is looking clean, healthier than she has looked in ages, and somewhat coherent when you see her now. There certainly doesn't appear to be any mismanagement of her funds at this point on the part of her family either. FYI, I've yet to see a mentally ill person look happy about receiving treatment when they are as far gone as she has been and refusing to seek treatment. But I'm sure she is and angry about the brakes being put on her self destructive behavior seeing as she refuses to acknowledge there is anything wrong. It's all sad, but I hope the conservtorship continues for a long time and that she leaves the limelight altogether. It's her only hope to eventually function normally and with her illness and obvious immaturity, it seems the best thing for her.
