Lourdes Ciccone is enjoying the lifestyle to which her mother has made her accustomed, which includes getting pedicures at Beverly Hills salons. To be fair, Madonna does seem to go out of her way to keep her kids from being too spoiled, but still, it's hard not to be jealous of the daughter of an international pop star. Also, having had spent some time working in the service industry, the thought of having to give a pedicure to a some skinny little pre-teen might be enough for me to want to consider some acts of violence.
Also, David Banda Mwale, Madonna's adopted son, is enjoying an excursion to Toys 'R' Us with a nanny and a bodyguard. OK, I guess that's rather heartwarming, given his background. I'm still kind of jealous, though.

I see kids all the time in the nail salon...getting manicures and pedicures. Getting nails done is not such a luxury anymore.
Some Moms take the young girls in when they go to get their nails done, you know? The kids stay quiet & feel pampered. $25 for a pedicure (or however much) doesn't seem too steep -- it's like the price of a t-shirt. It's actually one of the cheaper ways to feel like a diva! Have fun, Lourdes!

Agree with all unibrow and 'stache comments; I must wonder about Madonna's neglect of those areas and even Miss Lourdes must look in the mirror and see for herself that the other little girls don't resemble Frieda Kahlo (sp?). I can't even imagine the money she'll spend on bikini waxing....

For pity's sake, she's not even a teenager yet--and, hello, ITALIAN? So sorry she doesn't look like a good little Aryan, sieg heil and all that. Not that little blond kids don't have unibrows sometimes too, it's just not obvious, so not worth mentioning. Ditto for mustaches.
Leave the poor girl alone. God. If she were a boy you'd be talking about how manly she looks already.

I don't think children this age need any of this. I don't think it's a prob. to have nails done but i don't believe it needs to be done. When the child is old enough to ask for these things is when she should get them no sooner. I have never and will never have my brows done. I have been told i need them done but i don't give a crap about them. I think grandparents can do nails just as well and it shows family not MONEY spent on things not needed...
