OK! Magazine is featuring Katie Price on the cover of their Mother's Day issue, citing her as the Celebrity Mum of the Year. Of course, this title is being awarded the British tabloid queen around the same time that she's facing allegations of neglectful parenting being made by her former nanny.
Katie has taken legal action against the ex-nanny, vehemently denying any such claims. And recently, she chatted with OK! Magazine about the difficulties she's faced this past year with taking care of Harvey, who suffers from being sight-impaired, mild autism as well as a hormone imbalance.
Katie told the magazine of a recent tantrum Harvey threw in public, "There were me and my friend trying to lift an eight stone [approx. 112 lbs.] child, who was flipping like a fish, into the car." I have a feeling that is a pretty accurate description of what it must feel like for her every day when she puts on a bra.

Because of his blindness and seizure meds - it is not unusual for him to be over weight. It's hard to exercise when you are blind. The child's only pleasure may be from food, making it hard to restrict.
I think it is quite rude to bash a child because of their illness. Those who made rude comments should do some research and grow up.

She is a brilliant mum and really loves her children, Harvey is over weight because he has a hormone inbalance so it's not his fault or anything to do with the way Jordan brings him up! I admire her and Peter as parents and aspire to be as good a mum as her one day!
