Ten percent of this outfit is ridiculous, with the other ninety percent appearing to be pretty damn good, but that ten percent is just so glaringly wrong that it really does a pretty decent job of tainting the rest. You might not understand what I'm talking about if you weren't forced to scroll down through the entire picture to get to the text part of this blog.
I'm loving Mariah Carey's outfit that she wore to TRL except for the fact that she suddenly decided that her bright red wedges (also known affectionately as her "hooker clown shoes") would be the most appropriate choice of footwear. I have a sneaking suspicion that Mariah decided she wanted to try some of those skinny, cropped jeans all the kids were wearing, but refused to understand when her stylist told her that the look has to be completed ballet flats. I imagine Mariah simply laughed and said, "How would I possibly walk around in ballet flats? My feet don't even naturally rest flat anymore." Seriously, they're like Barbie's now.
Also, the wash on that pair of jeans is kind of strange.
