Sources say that Britney Spears was recently told she could be penniless if she keeps up the spending. Britney and her parents met with financial advisors, and she was informed that she has spent over half her fortune recent years. A source said that during the meeting "her mother said she could be out of money within four years, and her children will still be at primary school. That was when she really sat up and took notice." Well yeah, school clothes can be pricey.
Some of Britney's expenses include alimony and child support to her ex-scrub/father of the year Kevin Federline. And bad weaves, ill-fitting clothing, and more coffee products than a stomach can handle. This probably means she's going to have to ease up on the shopping sprees and car shopping. Sam Lutfi had her buying cars every other day. Shiny cars that still won't fill the space in her broken heart!

Despite the wakeup call I highly doubt Britney has the brain power to maintain her fortune. Her father and a court appointed lawyer needs to be in control indefinitely. The entire circle should just be able to live off the interest.
Britney brought those kids in the world, and she has a responsibility to support them. God knows those kids are going to need help the rest of their life considering the genetics involved.
Britney would be happier living a simple life in the country out of reach of the paps. She still has the money to build a rather nice house and surround the entire property with a very tall fence. She can have horses, etc. She could afford to install a Starbucks in her house if it is that important to her. Certainly enough money for a dance/exercise room. However until she gets mentally healthy enough to realize this it is the duty of the court to keep that money safe for her kids.

True -- unless one is a Paris Hilton sort of young celebrity, one could very easily go broke. I'm glad her parents are finally paying attention to this fact. Now Britney needs to pay attention. Child stars often think money grows on trees, but all too often they end up broke and on drugs. Pull it up, Brit Brit.

I like the thing about SlimeFed. Yes, he would have to look for some way to survive, wouldn't he? As for Britney, forget it. She is far from broke and she will always make money from the perfumes and other things going on in her life. One thing she is not is broke. I think she looks really good now and hopefully regains joint custody and control of her own life soon. But I believe her parents are doing what is best for her at this time.
