As usual, I'm once again left generally confused by the latest Courtney Love story. She was interviewed by TMZ after informing the LAPD in Van Nuys, California that she believes that she is the victim of identity theft. This scribbled note she holding up reads, "Fraud Frances Bean Cobain Trust Fund," as far as I can see and as for the rest of it, I was getting a headache trying to read it, so I gave up.
The singer told TMZ that her daughter's trust fund had been embezzled for years, up to $69 million, according to Courtney, and she has recently alerted the police of the situation. She's claiming that Kurt's SSN had been used for identity theft, however the LAPD have found Courtney to be a less than credible source, with one source telling TMZ of the identity theft incident, "it never happened."
Courtney, for her part is denying reports that she's been recently diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, saying on her blog, "I may be Eccentric, i certainly speak my mind and am slow to put out a record i need to mean the world to ME, and im sur ei am quite Nuerotic but 'Bi Polar' . Thats just slander.I shoot straight from the hip and spellcheck has NOTHING to do with REALITY."
Man, this bi-polar thing seems to be running rampant in Los Angeles. I hope it's not something in the water. And as for the question, "Where did all the money go?" I think the Libertines had the right answer.

I think that Love is the "embezzler" and it's time for Francis Bean to seek legal emancipation, so that her evil mom won't spend all the trust fund on fruitless plastic surgery procedures.

Jesus. Beyatch needs to learn the law behind trusts. If the money has been embezzled then it must have been done by a trustee or third party constructive trustee. Kurt Cobain's SSN has NOTHING to do with a trust fund... the legal title and equitable interest in a trust fund has nothing to do with the dead person. The trustees legally hold the title to the fund property for the benificiary party. If there was a breach by the trustees then Courtney may seek personal damages or proprietary damages. Hell she could even seek restitution. Considering she probably isn't capable of wiping her own ass and lady bits I doubt she can understand the law. BTW, please excuse my shit spelling - it's late in my part of the world.
Ugh Courtney Love is a sorry bitch. I find it entertaining that previously this evening I heard a Nirvana song being used in a tv advert and commented on how it was Courtney's fault for the cheese/tackines.
