God, I love Annie Lennox. Seeing her makes me want to have sweet dreams of walking on broken glass. Plus, she always has the cutest short haircuts.
The Scottish singer is using her musical talents for charity, launching a campaign with 23 other international pop star ladies to record the track, "Sing." Of the female superstars performing on the track are Celine Dion, Madonna, Shakira, Pink and Beth Orton, all of whom have lent their voices to raising awareness of the HIV problems faced by South Africa.
Any profits made by the campaign will be given to the Treatment Action Campaign and Annie said of her efforts, "Music has given me a platform I can use to help people in need." Also, she's still looking good after all these years. Maybe it's because charity work is chock-full of antioxidants.

I love her too.
Now I have that awesome song she did in "Scrooged" stuck in my head.
"Put a little love in your haa-aaaart."
Zekers says:
I'm too lazy to look this up...has Annie been inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame? I sure hope she was before the plastic Material Girl...
She is a rare talent-love her (and Dave Stewart) too!
Helen Skor says:
I just scrolled down far enough to see the picture, at which I sighed a big old, "God, I effing love her." Then I scrolled down a bit more and saw that you felt the same way!! She looks so fantastic, and I would be hard pressed to name anyone as talented as she.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE her too!!! She looks absolutely FANTASTIC!! I agree, she's so incredibly talented. Sings, writes & plays. Not many can do that and very few can do it as well as she does.
Matt says:
Hon, I love Annie too but the song was released back in late 2007 and it virtually flopped on the pop charts. One possible clue to the song's lack of success: the well-meaning video of just Annie and African women featured not one of the female pop stars singing in the chorus. No Madge, no Pink, not even Bonnie Raitt. I was extremely disappointed. The album, however, is a masterpiece, possibly her best solo project to date.

Annie Lennox is such a kick ass woman...On so many levels; creatively, spiritually, socially, politcally. And, she is SOOO (here comes that American word)cute!
