Britney Spears is currently taping a guest role on the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother". That's the show where Doogie Howser plays straight, and it features my beloved Alyson Hannigan. For all of you who have no taste, she played Willow on "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" for seven years. Which was the greatest show on television. I don't watch Alyson's current show, mostly because the lead guy looks like manga and he annoys me. But I always wish her the best in every venture. Oh right...Britney. Sorry.
Brit is allegedly playing a woman that the Ted character meets in a doctor's office. Britney's been there/done that in situation comedy. She guest-starred on "Will & Grace" back in April of 06, pre-hitting the wall.
In other Britney news, the court's have approved her Dad to give her a $1,500 a week credit/debit card. The official word from Jamie Spears' lawyer that it's there so Brit "can spend money, have her freedom, and make choices about how she wants to enjoy her life." Oh, that's sad. This woman was buying Mercedes and exchanging them when she spilled her iced coffee on them two months ago. Just keep repeating that it's all about the recovery, Brit.

Everyone be nice. Britney is getting the mental help she needs, Girlfriend has been thru hell and has a way to go. I wish her the best. She looks healthier. Would like to see her smile again. I think TV will build her confidence. I will continue to pray for her.
