Oh, this makes me sad. Actress Dawn Wells, who took on the role of the sweet and innocent Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island, was busted for DUI and reckless driving. The 69-year-old was pulled over by Idaho police when she was seen swerving on the road back in October, and last month pleaded guilty to one count of reckless driving, receiving five days in jail and a $410.50 fine.
Unfortunately for Wells, she failed a sobriety test and ended up being charged with multiple misdemeanor counts, three of which were dropped per the terms of a plea agreement. These included: driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In October, after pulling her over for her wacky driving, officers smelled marijuana coming from the car. Wells said that she's picked up some hitchhikers who were smoking something and that was her cover story, apparently. I LOVE that she blamed it on some alleged "hitchhikers." I bet once the police got her in the station and sat down with a sketch artist, the faces ended up looked suspiciously a lot like Cheech and Chong.

Hahaha, she's 69 years old. You know she doesn't give a crap about being in the slammer for 5 days. That's awesome. You know she's totally, "Whooo caaares," while she uses her one phone call to call her dealer to make sure she's set when she gets out. Old people are ADORABLE. ;)

Idaho has some really inane laws it's like the Deliverance State of the northwest.It actually has a law that makes it a misdemeanor for practicing dentistry w/o a licence.Plus a couple found the Mayor of Boise parked in their driveway in morning passed out and when questioned he said that he ran out of gas.
