Ryan Phillippe is giving us a look that shows he knows that even though he's starring in a war movie, we've seen the previews in which he and Channing Tatum are shootin' stuff while wearing jeans, cowboy hats and little else. Well-played, Mr. Phillippe, in your attempt to pique my interest in your movie.
Here's Ryan with director Kimberly Peirce for the premiere of their film, Stop Loss. Ryan stresses that one of the biggest selling points of the film is that, "it's not boring." That's awesome, because even though I'm occasionally in the mood for a boring movie, usually I prefer the ones that aren't.
He attempted to convey the film's tone, by saying, "There's no political agenda, it's got a lot of heart and the fact that for a younger audience who hasn't seen Deer Hunter or Born On The Fourth Of July this idea of coming home from war and having to assimilate and get back into life is all very new in a way." And we take our shirts off, he forgot to mention.

Holy cats! I wasn't paying much attention to the gal next to him in the first photo, since, well let's just say she's not the focus. So, my first thought, having only had a quick glance, was she was Hillary Clinton. I'm sooooo sorry Ms. Pierce. I was thinking, 'kind of a slutty shirt for Hillary'. Ooops, again.
