Heath Ledger's uncle Haydn, who is estranged from the rest of his family, made news last week with claims that Heath had a child out of wedlock with an older woman. His family is trying to clear that mess up.
Heath's uncle Mike gave an interview in which he said that claims of a love child were "berserk", but wouldn't say yay or nay.
"All my brother Haydn said was that anything is possible, and from there, it just went absolutely berserk. At the end of the day, our thoughts are with the little girl in question, and we're not prepared to make any more comments at all," says Uncle Mike.
He also went on to say that it shouldn't be ruled out because "there were rumors."
"He was a young, good-looking guy, and he attracted lots of women," Heath's uncle said.
So it's still up in the air, really. It sounds like there's a possibility that Matilda might have to share the wealth with some other chick in the future. I do think that the Ledger family might want to settle down a bit, though. Especially crazy uncle Haydn. Where's the "e?" I have an uncle Freddie who can pee over a Ford Pinto (lengthwise) but he doesn't run to the networks about my every move. Yes, I'm a celebrity! Shut up!
