Uma Thurman is being oh-so-mysterious when chatting about the next installments of the Kill Bill series, which include two new anime films intended to explain the history of the characters of The Bride and Bill. Uma's saying that her voice was never recorded for use in the animated bits. Either she's telling the truth, when she claims, "It has nothing to do with me," or she's doing her best to keep Quentin Tarantino's latest project a secret until its release.
Thurman explained of the Beatrix Kiddo storyline, "Right now he's putting the two films together with an intermission with an added anime sequence he had already written." Honestly, understanding exactly what it is that's being shown sounds to me almost as circuitous as the premise of Kill Bill itself. All I know for sure is that I like this haircut of hers.
