In Los Angeles, every time a new clothing line gets launched, an angel gets its wings. Last night, I actually happened to drive past this event, and maybe if I hadn't been in such a rush to get to dinner (the restaurant has a cheese bar, people--a cheese bar), then maybe I would have slowed down to gawk.
I would have been rewarded with appearances by Kanye West, Johan Hill, Robin Thicke, Pete Wentz and Pharrell at the Bape store opening (short for Bathing Ape) from Japanese designer Nigo. However, I would have had to risk life, limb and labia by being within raping distance of Mike Tyson. I'm still kind of shocked Pete Wentz made it out of there alive and with his manhood relatively intact.
