Here's some snaps from the MTV Australia Awards. The big winners? Delta Goodrem and The Veronicas. Yeah, it's Australia. Every country has their own pop scene that seems all kinds of crazy to everyone else. Kylie Minogue and Robbie WIlliams are big across the water but they can't get recognized at the dry cleaners here.

Among the other celebrities on the premises were Mischa Barton, Brian McFadden, Kim Kardashian, The Vines, Leona Lewis, the Rogue Traders, Merrick and Rosso, Ian Thorpe and Vanessa Amorosi. Those last couple are Australian superstars. You might need to open Wikipedia.
