Roger Clemens opened a huge can of worms when he filed a defamation suit against his personal trainer and now, one of those worms that have wriggled out is the allegation that the troubled baseball player engaged in a ten-year-long affair with country music singer Mindy McCready. The extra-marital relationship is said to have started when Clemens was 28 years old and married with two children and McCready was a15-year-old aspiring country singer, according to the New York Daily News.
No stranger to a closet full of skeletons, McCready might be preparing to air even more secrets from her past with her planned comeback to include a documentary, reality show and a new album. Roger's lawyer, Rusty Hardin, denies any implication that McCready and Clemens were engaged in a romantic relationship, calling Mindy "a close family friend."
Well, it sounds like Mindy will have plenty of material for her next album. I just hope she holds enough back for her next visit on Oprah.
