While the now-famous cast of 'High School Musical' has been sent to Boo-Foo, Utah to hide away and tape 'HSM3,' the series' first feature film, it has been announced that HSM4 is already in the works.
But now all the children have their panties in a wad upon the prospect of another movie, because let's face it, Troy and Gabriella are going to be graduating and moving beyond high school.
According to Disney Channel Worldwide President Rich Ross, 'We are writing High School Musical 4. Are we going to have all the cast back? Probably not. Will we have some of them? I hope so.'
So who will be leading East High this fourth time around? I know that there have been some new young'uns cast for HSM3 -- I guess these kids are to be the second coming of Wildcats.
They have big shoes to fill if Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and cast are ever able to pry themselves from the tight grasp of Disney and graduate their careers on to bigger and better things.

I really think that you should keep the same cast expecially Zac/Troy and Vanessa?Gabriella. They are both really really good. Sharpay/Ashlee is also a wounderful actress. You really need to keep those 3 playing on the show. Even if Gabriella/Vanessa needs to have a baby on it. I think that it would be sweet if she did have a baby on the show.

Just like the other comments above me, I think you should keep the entire cast for HSM4. Everyone likes this cast. A new cast would be very different for everyone and not everybody will like it. But if the cast members doesn't want to participate in the movie, okay, we'll have to accept that. But lets hope that the whole cast will return. ;) =D
