Barbara Walters, 1000, is a home-wrecker! She went on Oprah Winfrey, and the esteemed TV journalist revealed that she had an affair with a black, married senator in the 1970s. Get it, Babwa! Don't you let anyone try to rein in your sexy! That's pretty spicy, even for the sexual revolution.
According to transcripts of the interview, Barbara said she met U.S. Senator Edward Brooks in the 1970s and was his other woman until 1978. At the time, she was co-host of NBC's Today show but would make the jump to ABC. Brooks was a moderate Republican who hailed from Massachusetts, which explains everything. We Massholes are lusty people.
Barbara says that they were both aware that if it got out that they were banging, they would lose their careers. Gee, he must have been quite the detective if he came to that conclusion. Brooks later divorced and remarried but he's not commenting on Babs' claims. Is she trying to sell a book? Yep. It's a memoir called Audition.
Oprah, who gets low marks for not asking Kristin Davis about her sex scandal yesterday when she had the Sex & The City banshees on, did ask Barbara if it was love.
"I was certainly -- I don't know -- I was certainly infatuated. I was certainly involved. He was exciting. He was brilliant. It was exciting times in Washington," she said. Translation - the peen was all sorts of right. You don't have a years long affair just running on "infatuation." He was pulling her hair and banging her off walls! Underneath those tailored suits is a wanton woman!

You're getting Edward Brooks mistaken for Edward Brooke.

Considering she had an affair with a married senator, maybe she shouldn't be such a judgmental higher-than-thou bitch.
Monie says:
*sigh*... I really need to stop reading your blog at work... I'm prone to bursting out in random spurts of loud laughter... "Barbara Walters, 1000.."... LOL!!!

Look up "reign". "Journalists" should know how to spell, especially the names of their subjects.

To call Barbara Walters a slut, is about the most ignorant thing you could do. Love is love and people fall into it all the time. Do you think he's a slut too? Barbara is neither a slut nor judgmental. I have never heard her say a judgmental thing about anyone. It's one of the things I love about her.
You, on the other hand, are judgmental. You just judged her by calling her a slut, a disgusting term that no one should be called.
We live in a world where people put others down in order to make themselves feel better. That doesn't work. Look in the mirror and find something to love about yourself and you won't spout such negative trash.
mdawg says:
NO! She's a POWERSLUT!
dolly says:
if you actually read her memoir you'd understand the circumstances of their affair. not that im condoning adultery at all...
but you are quite clearly very ignorant and trashy for calling such an incredible woman a slut.
grow up!
