Here's rebel without a clue Shia LaBeouf doing the airport thing. He stars in the newest Indiana Jones flick, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which drops this summer. Shia plays a character called Mutt, who I gather from the trailer and from my keen eye for detail, is Indy's kid. That's just a theory. I wish they had brought Kate Capshaw back. That one was my favorite, mostly because it's crazy dark and hearts get ripped out. Oh, and Indy, Kate Capshaw and Short Round survive fallng from a plane by landing in a rubber raft. Fun!
LaBeouf's Mom has a huge crush on Harrison Ford, so she was all a'swoon when he brought her to the set to meet her fantasy loverman. LaBeouf has put his education on hold to to pursue his acting career.
"I thoroughly thought I was going to go to school. But the way I look at it is - there's no acting school on the planet that could put me on the stage with Cate Blanchett or film school that's going to put me in the cage with Steven Spielberg," he says. You can't blame him. 8 AM Introduction to Logic or commiserating with Cate Blanchett about how the craft services' vegetarian curry sucks today? Right. Hopefully some of their cool rubs off on Shia because his ass can't even get a date at this point!
