A-listers love to flaunt their helicopter rides in our faces. Here I am, traveling like a chump to work on the freeway while Suri Cruise is getting to her play dates on chopper. Meanwhile, Reese Witherspoon's kids are taking jet packs to school. Well, maybe they're not...yet.
The Cruise family is in New York City and Suri's hair really does look lighter in these pictures - I thought at first that maybe it was just the lighting, but now her hair really does look lighter. I really hope it's just her hair changing as she grows and not the result of an expensive trip to a salon.
Today the second part of Tom's big "clearing up" interview with Oprah, returning to the scene of Tom's couch-jumping crime. Let's see if Oprah can trick Tom into talking some more Scientology nonsense.

Children's hair never lightens on it's own. Everyone's hair gets darker as they age, until they start to gray.
They are taking that poor kid and having her professionally lightened, I guess to make her look more like Tom, instead of her bio dad.

When Suri was first "purchased" she had lighter hair so they put a dark rinse in it to make her look more biological. Now that she's getting older, and they are feeling more comfortable and the "issue" is dropped, they are letting her hair lighten gradually to its natural color. Most Russian babies are blonde.

I thought the same thing, Jeanne. They dyed her hair as a child so people wouldn't question her biology. Yeah - hair can lighten quite a bit in the sun, but this much, in this short time period??? Something's not quite right.
But one question ---- why does she look exactly like Tom in the face???

Ok- I figured (at first) that she had been out in the sun. My hair used to get dark in the winter and almost platinum in the summer when I was her age (although not THAT dark in the winter).
BUT- if she was in the sun and that's what lightened it, would she still look so pale? Even with the best sunscreens, you're still bound to get some color on you.
