After gushing over their buddy Tom for his celebration of 25 years in film on Oprah, David Beckham and wifey Victoria, accompanied TomKat on the red carpet at the annual Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute Gala in New York. Rumors had circulated that a rift had developed between former BFFs Posh and Katie, and it would seem only fitting that such a fashion-conscious event as this one would have the two reuniting on the red carpet.
Katie opted for a splash of bright color, in her strapless gown (that looks orange in some pictures, but appears to be red in these) and some electric blue pumps. Honestly, except for the wacky pink eye-shadow, I'm totally digging on her outfit. It's young, fun and a hell of a lot less dowdy than some of the stuff we've seen her in lately.
And Victoria's sheer beaded ensemble was quite beautiful, but her hair and make-up were too harsh and made her look from the neck up as if she wearing the head of a Dynasty cast member. Also, Suri would have been there, but she was busy getting her hair did.
