How could they lose such a beautiful treasure? Katherine Heigl is reportedly considering spreading her wings and flying from Grey's Anatomy.
"She's working really long hours and is ready to move on," says a source.
Heigl has had a successful career in film, with hits such as Knocked Up and 27 Dresses. She renewed her Grey's contract 15 months ago, and got the raise she was asking for. She would still have to somehow get out of that contract, which would reportedly be very difficult.
"She's a smart one. She saw what can happen with someone like Jennifer Aniston, who was crazy successful on TV, but can't seem to carry a film, and she tested the waters early," said a source in the movie industry. Can she write books? That way we don't have to see her. It sounds harsh, but she's a little uppity.
