For as unexpected as this was of a union and as shocked as I am still that it took place, I do have to admit that Mariah never has looked better. She's trim, smiling big and excitedly flashing that rock of hers.
These are pictures from (and a video) of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Cannon's world debut. The two stepped out for the Time magazine 100 Most Influential People in the world (of which Mariah is one) party earlier in the evening, making their first appearance together since their secret marriage in the Bahamas.
The couple sat down with People magazine for an in-depth interview, revealing the details of the events that led up to their marriage and how they fell in love at first sight, essentially. They both got tattoos before the April 30th ceremony - Mariah's got "Mrs. Cannon" on her lower back, and Nick has "Mariah" across the back of his shoulders. According to Nick, part of why they get along so well is because, "We are both eternally 12 years old."
But my favorite part of the interview comes from the description of how Nick proposed. Apparently, he presented Mimi inside a Ring Pop wrapper and when he got down one knee, "she ran away and got all shy." Eventually she returned and said yes, but how awesome is that image? Proposing to that one is like trying to woo a unicorn or a wood sprite.

Most of you guys that are making these comments are such BIG HATERS!!!! Nick and Mariah are an amazing and beautiful couple, and I hope and pray that they stay together for as long as God will allow them to. Their future children are going to be just as amazing as they are, you watch and see. I LOVE MCC and I think that Nick is the bomb diggity!!! LOL!! Oh!! Age is nothing but a number, a state of mind. I believe that Aaliyah said it best, and it doesn't matter. There are alot more important things to focus on in a relationship than just age, but anyone that doesn't have common sense wouldn't be able to wrap their brain around that concept. Another thing, this is not directed to anyone that's left a comment here, but I have read different blogs on other sites, that people have left regarding Nick and Mariah's marriage. Alot of people are making it into a race thing, which is sooo bizarre. Nick is a BLACK man, and Mariah's mother is white (Irish background) and her father is black. His mother was African-American, and his father immigrated from the country Venezuela. Her grandfather was Afro-Latino, which makes Mariah half black and half white. So people out there, stop making their love into a race thing, it's just weird. They are two people that seem to really be in love and happy, so leave them alone. Their love is beautiful, and who cares about race and other foolish things. Love is love and until people can truly understand God's love, than they can never understand human love.
